Since APMIA is the only registered association and having a Vice Chairman in every province will affect fake associations and APMIA will become a strong Association. Mr. Sheikh Muhammad Rizwan (Ex Chairman APMIA) highlighted that it is difficult to assemble the ¾ majority of the general body members, therefore it was mutually agreed to appoint a Sub Zonal Vice Chairman in each cluster who will be responsible to take the consent in written from each member from their cluster and provide the consent to APMIA Head Office, Islamabad for further perusal.

If imposed the said proposal is imposed, FBR can collect sales tax from all over Pakistan without any discretion.

Mr. Muhammad Afzal Shahid mentioned that the government will start the procedure of next year’s finance bill in February or March and we should start our preparation regarding sales tax so that we can present our suggestions to the government in time and a positive result can be achieved.
