A meeting with the Honorable Ambassador of Republic of Turkey

A meeting of APMIA representatives including Mr. Mian Gulzar Ahmad (Chairman APMIA), Mr. Muhammad Shakeel Munir (Ex-Chairman APMIA & Chairman Diplomatic and Foreign Affairs Sub Committee), Mr. Mian Abdul Sami (Ex-Chairman APMIA), Mr. Farrukh Majeed (Executive Committee Member APMIA) and Mr. Shoaib Hamid (Corporate Member APMIA) with the Honorable Ambassador of Republic of Turkey Mr. I. Mustafa Yurdakul and the Commercial Counselor Mr. Demir Ahmet in Embassy of Turkey, Islamabad.
The points which were highlighted in the meeting by APMIA representatives are hereunder;

3. Technology Exchange.
4. Joint ventures between our association and turkey’s association or government and conduct B2B meetings.
His Excellency Mr. I. Mustafa Yurdakul expressed that the relations between Pakistan and Turkey are going ahead in a very positive manner and since Turkey is also working in the field of marble and granite, so he have expressed a keen interest to further improve and promote the trade relations with Pakistan.
They have recommended and shared the details of Afyon Karahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Turkey, which can provide us the best assistance according to marble and granite business.
In this view, His Excellency told APMIA representatives that a visit of Honorable President of Republic of Turkey is scheduled to Pakistan in February 2019 with high profile delegates and businessmen and he will try to request some people from marble & granite sector to join this delegation and will try to arrange B2B meetings.
For further ease of doing mutual business they have also shared the list of International Exhibitions and Buyer Missions to be held in Turkey in first quarter of the year 2019.
