ڈی آئی جی پی زون ویسٹ کی آل پاکستان ماربل ایسوسی ایشن کے وفد سے اہم میٹنگ

مورخہ 05 جنوری 2024 بروز جمعہ ڈی آئی جی پی ویسٹ زون عاصم خان نے اپنے دفتر میں آل پاکستان ماربل ایسوسی ایشن کے وفد سے ملاقات کی۔

آل پاکستان ماربل ایسوسی ایشن کے وفد میں وائس چیئرمین شعیب سلطان، زونل وائس چیئرمین ذاکر خان و دیگر ممبران نے شرکت کی۔

آل پاکستان ماربل ایسوسی ایشن کے ممبران نے ڈی ائی جی ویسٹ زون کو اپنے اپنے علاقوں سے متعلق تحفظات و تجاویز سے اگاہ کیا۔

ایسوسی ایشن نے ڈی آئی جی پی صاحب کو پولیس پیٹرولنگ بڑھانے کی درخواست کی جس پر ڈی آئی جی پی صاحب نے فوری طور پر پہلے سے طے شدہ پوائنٹس کے مطابق پیٹرولنگ میں اضافہ کرنے کی ہدایات جاری کی۔

ڈی آئی جی پی صاحب نے ایسوسییشن کے ممبران کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ زون ویسٹ کے دونوں اضلاع میں معقول تعداد میں پولیس کی نفری مہیا کر دی گئی ہے جس سے پیٹرولنگ میں اضافہ بھی دیکھنے میں آئے گا اور اس سے کرائم کو کنٹرول کرنے میں بھی مدد حاصل ہوگی۔

ڈی آئی جی پی صاحب نے نشہ کی لت میں مبتلا ہو کر چوری کرنے والوں کے خلاف بھی سخت کاروائی کرنے کے احکامات جاری کیے۔

آل پاکستان ماربل ایسوسی ایشن کے ممبران نے پولیس کی کارکردگی کو سراہتے ہوئے ایسوسی ایشن کی طرف سے ہر ممکن تعاون کی یقین دہانی کروائی۔

اس اہم میٹنگ میں ڈی ایس پی آپریشن، ڈی ایس پی ایڈمن، ایس ڈی پی او منگو پیر اور ایس ایچ او تھانہ منگوپیر نے بھی شرکت کی-

Asghar Khan Utmankhel, Chairman of APMIA, along with Wisal Khan, President of Mardan Industries Association (MIA) & former CEC member APMIA, held a meeting with Engr. Said Mehmood, Vice Chairman of KPBOIT, and his team regarding the proposal of “KP Dimension Stone (Marble & Granite) Expo and Investment Conference” and other different sector development initiatives. It was proposed to establish this event as a regular annual occurrence to enhance the dimension stone sector in KP.

Furthermore, collaborative efforts will be made to engage other government and private organizations, facilitating direct exports from KP.
In conclusion, Vice Chairman KPBOIT presented an appreciation shield to Asghar Khan, Chairman of APMIA, in recognition of his dedicated efforts to advance the dimension stone sector in Pakistan.

In a second meeting held at KPTEVTA with Tahir Khan, the provincial coordinator of GIZ TEVT Support Program, the agenda revolved around forming a technical committee for reviewing, implementing Marble technician curricula, and other sector development projects.

The delegation from APMIA, comprising Zonal Vice Chairmen including Mr. Waqas Jadon, Abdul Malik, Engr Ali Haider, Amjad Ali Afridi, Zahid Iqbal Khan, Muhammad Irsal Khan, along with other members such as Farhan Khattak, Muneeb Ur Rehman, Nihad Ali, Khursheed Ali Khan, Musa Jan, Watan Gul, representing various zones, was led by Chairman Asghar Khan Utmankhel in a meeting with Governor Haji Ghulam Ali of KP. They discussed critical issues in the Marble & Granite sector, addressing concerns encompassing the Axle Load Regime, Buner mining explosives, Mohmand Road challenges, GST implications for settled area factories, unstable high electricity tariffs, and the need to reinstate tax exemptions on imported mining and processing machinery. Detailed presentations highlighted proposals for Mining Mechanization, Value Addition, Enhanced Transportation, and Expanding Exports from KP. The Governor pledged proactive measures to tackle sector issues and outlined further action plans. The meeting concluded with the Chairman presenting a shield from APMIA in recognition of the Governor’s services to the business community in Pakistan.
